This Western Saddle is based on a saddle made very popular in the late 1800's and early 1900's. It is steeped in the history of the Old West Cowboy traditions and built true to its origins.
It is a roping saddle. The horn is low and out of the way when roping. The horn has a prominent lip that makes dallying with your rope far easier. The saddle sits low on a horse and never moves. This low profile and perfect fit allows a horse much better leverage while holding a heavy steer that has been roped.

Above - The saddle is completely hand carved, with one half a perfect mirror image of the other half. The seat is nicely padded and provides superb rider comfort.

Above - The fenders are cut in one piece so there is no seam to eventually wear out. The fenders are twisted and laced together.

Above - The fenders are twisted and laced together. This twist sets the oxbow at the perfect angle and the lacing eliminates buckles etc that can rub a horse. Carving is complete, right down to the oxbows.

Above - The horn is low set and has a protective cover to prevent rope burn. A strap is provided to support your lassoo.
