It was especially ordered with a full steel horn with a 4" cap. The tree is especially reinforced for roping. Along with the steel horn the rear flank fitting has been changed from a slot to an inskirt dee. This dee is web reinforced and the screws pass through the web and into steel plate built into the internal structure of the tree. When the steer hits the end of the rope this extra strong horn or flank girth rig will make sure the saddle does not tip or be pulled apart by the impact. This saddle was designed by its new owner. Along with the personalised tooling, this Santa has a 4" horn cap. This was chosen from our website and is the same as pick up man, Keith Badiors saddle. SANTA MK III Revolver with Black Sheepskin This Santa MK III was designed by its new owner in Victoria, Australia. The tooling and emu inlay were chosen from our website, along with the position of these features. The end result is a one off saddle which started as a mental photograph and was brought to life by Trevor and son, Daniel James. ____________________________________________________SANTA MK III - US SPECIAL ORDERS
These Santa MK III's are beautifully designed. The colour combinations, tooling and the use of the suede leather in the seat and kneepads of the light havana saddle have taken this pair to the next level. The credit for design work goes to the new owners. The couple, who live in Florida, USA had clear and specific ideas on what they wanted in eye appeal and style and when combined got a tough, versatile saddle. COLT SPECIAL - US COUNTY SHERRIF SPECIAL Colt Original with Revolving Stirrup Bar Standard $2600 Revolver $2705 Emu Inlay $200 Horn $150 This black Colt Special Original was especially ordered for patrol officer working with the Us County Sherrifs Department. It was ordered in black with some tooling and has the opal inlay gold badge on the rear. What makes it unique is that it is a full flap saddle but the customer chose to have the revolving stirrup bar. It is the first full flap saddle with this feature, but it works so much better that it will be offered as an option on all James full flap saddles from now on.

Any of the James Saddles can be personalised with special features. The saddles shown are inlaid with genuine Emu and crocodile skin. The badges are 18ct gold plated and inlaid with genuine Australian opal. The Emu motif key ring also features the beautiful opal.

SANTA MK III - SUPER DUTY WITH HORN
This saddle was designed by Trevor James for pick up man, Keith Badior. It features a square skirt design and a horn with a 4" cap.
Keith Badior uses his Santa MK III for rodeo pickup work. His original saddle is on the apaloosa. Keith is using his new saddle made for him by Trevor James and is mounted on the black horse.
The Santa MK III Super Duty with horn. Square Skirt Style. This saddle was made by Trevor James for Keith Badior of NSW. Keith has been involved in Rodeo work for many years and around 11 years ago was involved in a serious rodeo incident where he suffered a broken pelvis and hip. His hips remain out of alignment. Keith was told he would never ride again. According to Keith "That didn't last long". He had a Santa MK III and after a short time found he could ride comfortably. He customised that saddle himself to adapt it to his rodeo work. He contacted Trevor James to make him a brand new one. His son had liked Keith's saddle so much that Keith couldn't get to use it. So Keith is back in rodeo in his new Santa MK III, designed for his own needs. Keith says, "If it weren't for the superb comfort and strength of the Santa MK III, the doctors would probably have been right", he would never have been able to ride again.

This Champion Drafter was ordered with the same tooling as the Santa MK III pictured above. You can custom design your own saddle as well. Just pick the features you like and we'll put them together for your dream saddle. A Monkey Grip has been added to the Northern Champion Drafter. It's great to carry the saddle with or throwing it on your horse and if things start to go wrong, its a little added security. It can be ordered with any saddle, price is just $20. The Santa MK III Revolver with Fixed Horn The mighty Sana MK III, renowned for its strength and durability has built its reputation over 4 decades in the Australian heartland. This beautiful Santa MK III will spend its life in Colorado Springs, USA and was individually crafted and tooled with a horn by Trevor and Daniel James to order for a US customer. Our New Zealand based customer picked the tooling options she liked and in order to suit a short backed horse. The panels were reduced to 22 1/2" in length. The attention to customer requirements makes this anotehr true to label work of art. _________________________________________________________________ Santa MK III - Warwick in colour ___________________________________________________________ Colt Revolver with Emu Inlay Standard $2600 Revolver $2705 Emu Inlay $200 Horn $150 ______________________________________________________________ SANTA MK III with Short Fender and Black Sheepskin Above - Rough out seat and kneepad covers provide extra grip. This customer chose to modify the SANTA MK III. The tooling was done in a one off style and the under flap was left off. This gives the rider closer contact and a better "feel" of the horse. The saddle was further customed by incorporating a family heirloom into a badge for the pommel of the saddle. The Australian penny you see set into the badge had been with the family since around 1920 and had been passed down through generations. The job of making a saddle and incorporating this small penny, which held so much sentimental value was entrusted to Trevor and Daniel James. It sure gave them an added incentive to ensure that this saddle was going to, along with the penny, become a family heirloom and be passed on to future generations. Above - Along with the unique tooling, black sheepskin was chosen to highlight the havana leather. Above - Penny set into the badge on the pommel. Above - This Santa MK III has no under flap for closer contact.
